Where Innovation Begins!
The STEAM curriculum complements the paths of the scientific high school and the sports-oriented scientific high school. It follows a double curriculum, both Italian and British, enabling students to continue their university studies in Italy or abroad. This is achieved by undertaking certain courses, spanning four years, covering both humanities and sciences in the English language. It provides an additional opportunity for students to secure a passport to success in Italian and foreign universities, with a particular focus on faculties in the scientific and technological fields.

Didactic objectives
Educational objectives focus on the international certifications of the studied curricular languages. Other exams concern the Cambridge curriculum and are linked to subjects studied in English.
**CAMBRIDGE IGCSE**
The IGCSE certificates (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) are internationally recognized and equivalent to British GCSEs obtained by students at the end of compulsory education at the age of 16. Preparation for IGCSEs begins in the first year of high school and covers the proposed disciplines. Students enrolling in our regular or sports science high school, with the addition of the international program, attend preparation courses for the Cambridge IGCSE between May/June of the 2nd year and November of the 3rd year.
Achieving good results in IGCSEs is a fundamental prerequisite for continuing the educational path to As & A Levels.
**DIPLOMA AICE (As & A-levels)**
In the second two-year period, students following the STEAM curriculum, deemed eligible, will take exams for curricular subjects such as English Language, History, Biology, and Maths. With the addition of the As level in Global Perspectives, they will obtain the 7 credits required for the AICE diploma (The Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education) or have the opportunity to obtain 3 As & Levels.

Subjets
The subjects follow the Italian and British parity curriculum.
Optional As & A levels
In case a student wants to add other courses related to different subjects to support the As & A level, the school reserves the right to evaluate the request.
Opportunities
At the end of the international program (at the fourth year of high school), students will have the opportunity to continue their studies at universities that recognize AS & A Levels as direct entry qualifications for enrollment (e.g., Italy, England, America, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and many other countries). This is achieved by successfully passing exams related to subjects studied in English in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum. Students can also conclude the parity program by taking the Italian scientific maturity exam.
Organization
Our typical day is structured in the following manner:
Graduation
.DOUBLE DIPLOMA
We are a Cambridge school, and AS&A level exams are held internally. Students will take exams for the AICE diploma by the fourth grade.
Students can also choose to take the Italian maturity exam, and being a parity school, the state exam takes place internally. With the state diploma issued by the Scientific High School of the International School of Pavia, students can access all university faculties. However, due to courses taken in English, there will be greater mathematical and scientific skills in both English and Italian during the school years.
Experiences abroad
Educational trips have a strong didactic and educational importance and make up part of the annual programming. Each year, students are involved in at least two experiences abroad visiting partner schools.
