Bilingual Middle School

Introduction
OUR VISION
The lower secondary school plays a pivotal role in the educational development of young people. It must accompany the transformation of children, who complete primary school, into prepared and self-aware adolescents.
These three years are ORIENTATION years, but they are part of a broader path that leads into high school. Students must be able to test themselves to discover their strengths and limitations in order to freely and consciously choose their future path.
The primary goal of our school is to prepare well-rounded individuals—citizens who are motivated to engage responsibly in civil society and capable of making informed decisions in both their personal and professional lives. Students are the true protagonists of the school, so the skills and attention of teachers and educators must be directed toward meeting their educational and developmental needs.

Our middle school offers two paths:

CAMBRIDGE CURRICULUM: In the final year, students will take the Cambridge Secondary 1 tests for English as a Second Language, Mathematics, and Science, following the British curriculum. At the start of the cycle, they will choose whether to study Spanish or German as an additional language.

SPORTS PROGRAM: Students can choose to follow the sports program at the start of the cycle instead of selecting a second language, as an extension of our educational offering.

Goals
The educational objectives focus on obtaining international certifications for the core languages studied, in addition to German and Spanish, which are selected at the beginning of the school cycle. Other exams are related to the Cambridge curriculum and are connected to subjects taught in English.

Our school aims to foster the development of passions grounded in reason, as the ability to understand and assess the meaning of things, encouraging everyone to exercise freedom and initiative.
A school attentive to the growth of each individual must adopt a highly flexible teaching and organizational approach.

Diploma
Our young Sipers obtain both the Italian and British diplomas at the end of their schooling cycle. They then have the opportunity to continue their international educational journey.

Visit the credits page to read about the results our students have achieved in the INVALSI tests, with an average significantly higher than the regional and national benchmarks, as well as in the British diploma exams, in English and Mathematics, where they achieved an average score above the international average.
Well done!
