Il liceo scientifico sportivo ha ottenuto la parità scolastica
Starting in September, the International School of Pavia (SIP) will celebrate its inaugural year of the bilingual science and sport high school. This course intends to fuse a science and sport Italian diploma as well as incorporating a Cambridge International education, delivered through a dynamic and unique curriculum that will be the first of its kind in the Lombardy Region.
Throughout the course students will acquire skills necessary to further study in their sporting endeavors and universities both in Italy and abroad. Students currently competing at the provincial, regional and national levels will have the opportunity to fuse theory and practice together with flexible and innovative learning methods. This course allows students to grow and realise their talents and potential in both their educational and sporting interests.
Students of the science and sport high school follow a bilingual curriculum (Italian and English) and complete Cambridge IGCSE exams in general and computer science. Additional language skills are optional by completing the German or Spanish courses offered, congruent with the students completing the International diploma.
The goal of SIP when embarking on this challenge is to create an inclusive learning experience where all students can learn to develop their individual strengths and promote excellence.
